Toyota Receives High Rating for Child Safety by IIHS

600 × 300

No one wants mediocre child seat mounts included in their vehicle. Thankfully, Toyota is far from that and makes your precious cargo a top priority. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recognized Toyota in September for their top-notch child safety system, proving further that Toyota is the cream of the crop.

Child seat anchors are much safer than seatbelts because it makes child seat installation easier, however, most seat anchors aren’t always intuitive. The Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) system designed by Toyota got a Good+ rating—the best rating possible given by the IIHS. 170 current models were graded and most were satisfactory, but Toyota was one of only two to earn this high honor. When it comes to ease-of-use of LATCH systems, Toyota excels.
